Just go with the flow

Q: Hi, I was wondering if it was possible to disable the Logitech M515 hand sensor technology so that the mouse responds regardless whether of not one’s hand is actually in contact with both sides of the mouse.

A: yes, it’s possible.

1. Remove cover over batteries;

2. Unscrew one screw;

3. Remove mouse cover;

4. Find green board with chip at the top of mouse;

5. Find wire connected to this board;

6. Lift white part of connector up and remove the wire (you will be able to plug the wire back if you want).

7. Enjoy.

I almost decided to throw the mouse to a window because it just doesn’t work with this ‘great’ feature. But it really helped me. I think, my mouse is very glad too :-)
